In the time that we are living in, it feels like we need to be a super mom/dad. And yet I am only human. This next song came out of a season of learning what REST really is. It’s really not about doing nothing and sitting on the couch and eating chips, but it’s about. Surrender. Be still and know that I am God. Knowing that it’s all under his control. And that believing that everything will turn out. Someone told me REST = Release Every Single Thing.

Unbound is a song I wrote while hiking. I remember the day clearly I needed to speak with God about some things in my life That were troubling me. I know that in these times alone with him, I find myself and answers to some of the hurdles in my life so this song is about being in nature and getting to mountain tops to be alone with the creator of the universe to find answers, peace, and His love.
